Extra smooth and cheesy French-style mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
I pkg (4 oz/113.4 g) IdahoanĀ® Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes
125 mL (1/2 cup) salted butter
60 g (2 oz ) cream cheese
60 mL (1/4 cup) whole milk
125 mL (1/2 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese
125 mL (1/2 cup) shredded white Cheddar cheese
30 mL (2 tbsp) finely chopped fresh chives
Instructions
In small saucepan set over medium heat, melt together butter, cream cheese and milk until smooth and creamy; keep warm.
In separate saucepan, bring 2 cups (500 mL) water to boil. Add Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes, whisking until well incorporated. Reduce heat to low. Pour in warm butter mixture; whisk until fluffy.
Stir in mozzarella, Cheddar and chives until well combined. Let stand for 2 minutes.
