Idahoan® Aligot Potatoes

Extra smooth and cheesy French-style mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
  • I pkg (4 oz/113.4 g) Idahoan® Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) salted butter
  • 60 g (2 oz ) cream cheese
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) whole milk
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) shredded white Cheddar cheese
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) finely chopped fresh chives
Instructions
  1. In small saucepan set over medium heat, melt together butter, cream cheese and milk until smooth and creamy; keep warm.
  2. In separate saucepan, bring 2 cups (500 mL) water to boil. Add Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes, whisking until well incorporated. Reduce heat to low. Pour in warm butter mixture; whisk until fluffy.
  3. Stir in mozzarella, Cheddar and chives until well combined. Let stand for 2 minutes.
