  • 1 pkg (4 oz/113.4 g) Idahoan® Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 can (284 mL) cream of mushroom soup
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) milk
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 2 cans (398 mL each) green beans, drained
  • 150 mL (2/3 cup) French’s French-Fried Onions
  • 15 mL (1 tbsp) finely chopped fresh chives
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180ºC). Mix soup with milk and pepper. Stir in green beans; pour into greased 1.5 L (1.5 qt) casserole dish. Bake for about 30 minutes or until heated through. Remove from oven and stir.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes following package instructions; dollop over top of green bean casserole.
  3. Preheat oven to broil; broil casserole for about 2 minutes or until heated through and golden brown. Scatter onions over top; sprinkle with chives.
  4. Tip: Substitute thawed frozen green beans for canned beans if desired.
